The Town of Lyons and the Lyons Arts and Humanities Commission (LAHC) invite artists to submit high-quality, original art and sculpture for its newly expanded heARTS of LYONS Outdoor Arts Collection--all over town.
The heARTS of LYONS Outdoor Arts Collection is a perennial celebration of art and sculpture displayed outdoors throughout the quaint mountain town of Lyons, Colorado. Small but mighty Lyons (population 2,000) is an arts-rooted destination, noted for its music, artists, and beautiful setting in the Rocky Mountains’ foothills. Each year, the rare, franchise-free charm of Lyons lures thousands of visitors from all over the world to stop and linger on their way to and from Rocky Mountain National Park.
Take a walking tour of all of the public art and sculptures in Lyons.
Learn more about the current heARTS of LYONS Outdoor Arts Collection >> or take a self-guided walking tour!
Applications are accepted through Cafe (now Creative West) call for artists . Selected art will be on display for a period of two years.
For more information on this cultural enhancement program, please contact Kristen Bruckner, arts and cultural services coordinator for the Town of Lyons.

Legacy Donation
Artists may permanently donate art to the Town of Lyons, as part of the heARTS of LYONS' Legacy Designation program. All Legacy pieces will receive a special Legacy Designation plaque as well as the standard “loan” honorarium.
Application Process
Artists and/or lenders may submit up to three art pieces for consideration per application. Upon receipt of the application, your application will be reviewed by the commission and a member of the LAHC will be in contact. Upon approval, LAHC will work with artists and/or lenders directly, regarding the Public Display of Outdoor Art Agreement, installation, payment, upkeep, removal, and other aspects.
