About Lyons Prepared >>
Lyons Prepared Mission:
Support neighborhood emergency preparedness; strengthen our ability to communicate well during an emergency; and enhance relationships between our fire district and surrounding communities and Boulder and Larimer County emergency planners.
1 - Fire, medical, and all other emergencies
Dial 911 first!
If it's a fire, explain that you are in the Lyons Fire Protection District (especially if you live in Larimer County).
If you are calling from a cell phone, you may reach dispatch in another county. Be sure to tell them where you are calling from.
Provide:
- The location of the fire or emergency
- Your name, address and phone number
2 - Emergency Notification System (ENS)
Everyone can sign up to receive messages about imminent threats and hazards. It takes just a couple of minutes, and you can choose how you want to receive the info: landline, mobile, text, etc.
