Halloween Guidance

Colorado Department of Public Health Guidance

The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) CDPHE has issued guidance on Halloween Trick or Treating, masks, and much more.

When following CDPHE guidance, please be aware Boulder County is at Safer at Home, Level 2: Concern.

For a quick snapshot of Halloween guidance, by CDPHE medical staff, review the COVID-19 Halloween tips, tricks, and treats presentation.

Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance

Many traditional Halloween activities can be high-risk for spreading viruses. There are several safer, alternative ways to participate in Halloween. If you may have COVID-19 or you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, you should not participate in in-person Halloween festivities and should not give out candy to trick-or-treaters.

Visit the CDC website for details of lower, moderate, and higher risk Halloween activities.
