The bright glow of the holidays is once again coming to the Town of Lyons the weekend of December 4th and 5th. Be sure to check out the Lyons Holiday Artisan Market in the Lyons Elementary School gym on December 4th and December 5th from 10 am - 4 pm. There will be visits from Santa Claus and more.
The highlight of the weekend is sure to be the Holiday Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 4th. The parade begins at 6:30 pm, along Main St (which is closed for the parade) and will be filled with illuminated, colorful floats, many of which will be decorated in the theme of this year’s parade — “Winter Around the World”. The parade route has changed this year. In order to keep Broadway open to traffic the parade will proceed down Main Street and then proceed onto High street via 5th Avenue. Please see the map located in the photo gallery on this page. If you are participating in the parade and have questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Be sure to catch the fireworks display afterwards and grab a bite to eat downtown! Lyons is one of the few towns in Colorado to have winter fireworks! . The Parade of Lights and fireworks display are made possible by donations & grants received from the Lyons Community Foundation and other local sponsors, including Laura Levy Real Estate, Murray Smith, Kissinger and Fellman, PVREA, CEMEX and Ramey Environmental.
