Bohn Park to Black Bear Hole Trail Improvements

Please note that due to continued construction and as part of the project for Bohn Park, trail improvements are scheduled for the section of trail east of the 2nd Ave. bridge to the Black Bear Hole. The pedestrian trail will be closed to the public beginning Tuesday  morning, June 13 at 7 a.m. and remain closed through the end of business on Friday, June 16. Crews will be widening the trail and completing some other project work in the area. Please assist by taking another route during this period. Thank you!

Stream Flow Conditions

As of  4:15 p.m. today, June 12, the St. Vrain Creek is flowing at 863 cfs. The new stream design is engineered for the capacity of 1,400 cfs. Nuisance flooding may begin at the 1250 cfs level, which can consist of bank overflow and puddling in low areas. Currently, the Lyons Fire Protection District, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, and the Town of Lyons are communicating and monitoring any significant changes. The current tubing ban is still in effect as the water levels fluctuate with spring run-off.
