Municipal Energy Provider
The Town of Lyons is your municipal energy provider if you live in town limits. Your utility bill includes electricity, water, stormwater and wastewater (sewer). Other energy providers in our immediate area are Poudre Valley REA (co-op) and Longmont Power (municipal).
Xcel ONLY provides natural gas to Lyons.
We understand that Xcel Energy has been updating about possible electric power outages nearby due to wind, today, April 6, 2024. This will NOT impact power in Lyons. At this time there is no plan to de-energize power in Lyons. Should anything change, we would message via our e-blast newsletter system and on our FB page.
