Lyons Holiday Artisan Market

Shop Local and Handmade

This weekend!

The bright glow of the holidays returns this weekend, December 2nd and 3rd in Lyons.

The Annual Lyons Holiday Artisan Market is the perfect chance to get a head-start on holiday shopping. Featuring work from 60 different local artists, the Artisan Market is a great place to source locally crafted handmade gifts.

The market returns to the Lyons Elementary School Gymnasium both Saturday and Sunday, December 2nd and 3rd, from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Please use the rear entrance. Invite your friends and grab a coffee or lunch together too! Plus, the amazing Lyons Middle/Senior Choir will have homemade Chilli on hand as a fundraiser. Come see them too!

Thanks  and a shout out to the Lyons Leos, a student led volunteer organization who helped many of the artisan market vendors set up last night in the cold! We appreciate you!

Where: Lyons Elementary School Gymnasium. Use rear entrance off of Stickney
Time: 10 am - 4 pm. There will be visits from Santa Claus from 2 - 4 pm.

Holiday Parade Lyons

Parade of Lights

Saturday DEC 2 - 6:30 pm sharp!

The “Small Town. Big Heart”  themed Holiday Parade of Lights will be a moving festival of lights and floats traveling along Main Street through the historic downtown, beginning at 6:30 pm sharp, Saturday, December 2. We have 35+ entries! Way to represent Lyons!

With the construction along Broadway (and the erosion barrier along the north edge of Sandstone Park), we wanted to remind parade visitors to use the crossings at 3rd Ave and 4th Ave. Boulder County Sheriff Deputies and Flaggers will be doing traffic control and safety closures. You won't be able to cross in the middle of the street. Please be mindful of sidewalk closures and please wear something reflective!

Parking will be limited for the parade, with no vehicles parked along Main Street. The Parade of Lights will start at 2nd and US-36/SH-66, heading westbound along Main St, turning right at 5th Ave and right again (eastbound) on to High Street. Please try and park from Railroad Ave to the south and walk up if possible to Main Street to catch the parade, using the traditional crosswalks at the street crossings.

A special thank you to all of the volunteers, parade entrants and sponsors who make the parade possible and fun! We couldn't do it without YOU!

Also a big SHOUT OUT to the Town of Lyons Parks and Public Works staff who prepared the holiday lights along Main Street and Sandstone Park for the season. We appreciate all you do!
